The Colorado Bluegrass Music Society announces its 2019 line up of artists in this ever popular concert series.
The season kicks off on January 12th with IBMA Momentum Award nominated and Telluride Band Contest winners Wood Belly joined by Ragged Union who have returned from a Fall 2018 tour of the United Kingdom.
The Colorado Bluegrass Music Society [CBMS] is a non-profit corporation in Colorado that leads in education, promotion, preservation and proliferation of bluegrass music through its involvement of fans, musicians, businesses and promoters in festivals, jams, events, concerts and educational programs.
It is a social network, an information resource and a powerful voice for bluegrass music, which is apparent in our website, festivals, newsletter, concerts, membership, educational programs and partnerships.
Our purpose is To promote and encourage the development, performance and preservation of bluegrass music in the communities of our state; to provide education as to the history of bluegrass music and work to sustain its future; and to provide a centralized source of information regarding events related to bluegrass music.
