Pickin' in the Pines is a stage-less, weekend music festival that occurs annually in August, on a beautiful, family-friendly boy scout ranch in Elbert, CO. Musicians from all across Colorado gather in this serene setting to create some soulful music in the pines. There is a great room that everyone gathers in on Saturday night to enjoy a pot luck dinner together plus a show-a band scramble of sorts and a talent show for others. The atmosphere is laid back and the jamming is plentiful. Camping is primitive. There are no hook ups. Campers and tents are welcome.
• Hot Showers
Please, no dogs at Pickin' in the Pines.
Cost is $35 per person, for you and your camping spot. If you are coming on Saturday only, $20. Children 12 and under are free. Pay when you arrive.
