We are nearing the outdoor festival season. No we're not. Yes we are...what weather we have been having. In the event that it's snowing (and officially Spring), you can always catch a jam at a local pub or diner. Look at our jams list here: Scroll down and choose a day of the week. Within each day, there are jams listed all over the state. If you find one that's not active, or want to get one going-email Joy Maples.
There is a FREE, yes, free concert this Thursday in Colorado Springs featuring Frank Solivan and Dirty Kitchen. No tickets are needed for this event. Doors open at 6p and the concert begins at 7pm.
April 9 is CBMS's spring fundraiser featuring Wayne Henderson with special guests, the Colorado Fiddlers. The event will be held at Altonia Grange and starts at 1pm. The cost is $15 for members; $20 for non-members. There will be a potluck and of course some jamming before the show. Bring an instrument and jam with Wayne and the fiddlers.
The Durango Meltdown is coming up soon! April 15, 16, and 17 will bring lots of hot, hot bluegrass and roots music to Durango, CO. We look forward to seeing you there.
