HighStreet
HighStreet was formed around a campfire at the 1986 Telluride Bluegrass Festival. The boys have been playing ever since including main festival stages and numerous other concert and performing venues. They placed in the 1990 Telluride Festival band contest behind the Dixie Chicks. They were finalists in the KDHT Colorado Sound competition. The music is a unique combination of bluegrass interwoven with an eclectic mixture of new acoustic, rock, folk, reggae and celtic. The band is known for its original music, powerful vocal harmonies and spontaneous improvisation. The musicians each come from different musical influences yet they share many common threads that are woven into the fabric of the HighStreet sound. They are good friends. They are partners in time.
