The Colorado Bluegrass Music Society is
a non-profit corporation in Colorado.

Our purpose is:

• To promote and encourage the development, performance and preservation of bluegrass music in the communities of our state.
• To provide education as to the history of bluegrass music and work to sustain its future.
• To provide a centralized source of information regarding events related to bluegrass music.
• To publish a newsletter which focuses on information related to the above objectives and purposes.

Pow'r Pickin' is the official publication of the Colorado Bluegrass Music Society. It is published monthly. *All information contained in Pow'r Pickin' is the opinion of the individual authors. Such information does not necessarily represent the opinion or policy of the Colorado Bluegrass Music Society, its officers or its members, unless otherwise noted.*

CBMS is also an organizational member of the International Bluegrass Music Association.
